Study at the University presents opportunities for interacting with other members of the University community. The University recognises and values the diversity of student experiences and expectations, and is committed to treating students, both academically and personally, in a fair and transparent manner. Academic Honesty
In order to ensure that the privacy and confidentiality of student information is maintained, electronic correspondence between staff and students should be restricted to the use of official university email accounts.
Where a student contacts a member of staff via a non-university email account, the staff member should respond to this email by requesting that the student re-send their communication from his or her official university email account.
This policy extends to all email correspondence between a student and a staff member including those regarding special consideration.
