Building works

The Pharmacy Alumni Association has an ongoing interest in raising funds for the Faculty of Pharmacy. Both the Alumni and the Foundation recognise the importance of expanding on the Faculty’s history of excellence and innovation in teaching and research. With over 60 percent increase in undergraduate student numbers in recent years, and a commitment to continue to grow postgraduate enrolments, there has been a commensurate increase in the demands on the Faculty’s physical resources to ensure all students and staff are provided with world class facilities.

The Alumni has financially assisted in the completion of several major projects including refurbishment of the historic Faculty of Pharmacy main corridor, Common Room and Pharmacy Lecture Theatre. Ongoing fundraising campaigns allow the alumni to plan more building development projects for the Faculty. Currently, a three stage project across the Pharmacy building, the old National Australia Bank building and the Badham building is underway.
