Dr Daniela Traini
Dr Daniela Traini is an early career lecturer in the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Sydney (July 2005). Daniela has extensive industrial experience in particle engineering, drug delivery and surface energy and has 9 international publications, 4 invited conference talks and 16 conference proceedings related to colloid interactions.
Daniela still collaborates with both academia and industry on an international level and currently has 1 PhD, 1 GDPS student and 1 international exchange student. Daniela has a broad-spectrum interest into all areas of Pharmaceutical technology and Surface material science.
Current interests include:
- Investigation into surface energy and particle interactions
- Characterisation and optimisation of pharmaceutical materials used in dry powder and pressurised metered dose inhalers
- Evaluation of controlled release formulations.
