Dr Paul M Young

Dr Paul M Young is a talented young early career researcher who recently joined the Faculty of Pharmacy University of Sydney. He has already made a significant contribution in the field of advanced drug delivery and particle adhesion measurement and control.

During his academic career (2002-2006), Paul has published 31 peer reviewed international journal articles (>100 citations), 2 patents, a book chapter and in excess of 50 conference proceedings.

In addition, Paul has given invited conference seminars on multiple occasions and has been on the organising committees for international formulation science conferences. Paul has been appointed onto the external TGA medical advisory committee, serves on advisory editorial committees and acts as a reviewer for many scientific journals.

Paul continues to collaborate (and consult) with both academia and industry on an international level and currently has 3 PhD students (in addition to numerous research-only masters and honours students). Paul's research focuses on correlating the physico-chemical properties of colloidal systems to in-vitro and in-vivo performance.
