Research Equipment Applications

All members of the academic staff, including research only staff, are eligible to apply for Faculty of Pharmacy Equipment Grants. Grants for pieces of equipment that are less than $5,000 will require a 25% contribution from the applicant. Grants for pieces of equipment that are more than $5,000 will require a 50% contribution from the applicant.

Please complete the form below. You will need to attach a current quotation, and a justification for the purchase of the equipment (maximum of one A4 page) by the Monday, 28th May (no late applications will be considered). Monies allocated from this application must be spent by Wednesday, 31st October.

The Research Committee will rank applications based on the following criteria:

• A brief justification;
• A financial contribution by the applicant;
• Purchase of the equipment is strategic, and will open up new avenues of research for the Faculty;
• If the equipment is available for multiple staff members. (Please note that requests for equipment by one staff member will be considered.)
