International Scientific Visits

The Faculty wishes to encourage research collaborations that will both benefit the individual and the researcher. The following schemes run by AAS and DEST are a step in enabling a mutually beneficial arrangement for Faculty researchers to engage in international scientific visits. Applications for both of these programs should be submitted directly to the Research Office, with a copy of the application given to the Research Services Officer. In addition to the support available through the AAS and DEST initiatives, the Faculty will also offer near-miss support for high ranking non-funded applications.

Please be advised that as there are a number of different schemes available under each of the respective programs offered by both AAS and DEST, it is vitally important that you check the closing dates of the particular scheme/schemes that you are going to apply for.
